Since 2012, BOA-MALI has operated in a tense environment marked by political, institutional and security instability following the occupation of two thirds of its territory, which has undermined all of Mali’s economic sectors. The external military intervention and the support of the international community have laid the foundations of new hope for a return to a normal constitutional life and the holding of proper presidential and legislative elections.
