Organized annually by the BANK OF AFRICA Group and the Athletics Federation of Mali in liaison with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Mali, the 2014 edition of the International BOA Marathon of Bamako took place on February 2nd, 2014. In total, 5000 participants ran in the streets of Bamako. This was the highest participation ever registered in the International BOA Marathon of Bamako.
